I thought the movie was very different from the book. The interaction between Changez and ”the American” was not what I expected it to be. There was a lot more tension between them in the movie. In addition the end was also very different from the book. The fact that Erica didn’t die at the end was not expected at all. If I hadn’t read the book at first I think I would have liked the film, but I must say the book was a lot better than the film.
